Chapter One :Chapter 1

It was early in the morning. The sun's rays broke through the atmosphere and the air was fresh.

There were no traces of clouds in the clear blue sky.

The weather was surprisingly good.

Naydragon Villa, which was built on the edge of a cliff by the ocean, was definitely one of the most luxurious villas in Pabilene City.

It belonged to Deborah Nangong, the Mistress of the Naydragon Group.

The detached villa was located on the south coast of Pabilene City. It was surrounded by a variety of flowers and plants within one kilometer radius. The quiet and elegant environment which consisted of a pavilion and verdant trees, was definitely the ideal place to be for summer.

At this moment.

In the living room of the villa, a shirtless young man was cleaning the floor diligently with a rag in his hands. He started to sing.

"One, two, three, four..."

Even though he was covered in sweat, the young man was still breath-takingly attractive, and he had chiseled features. The slight smirk on his lips revealed a hint of unruly attitude.

He was swinging the small shovel in his hand repeatedly. Indeed, he was an expert in cleaning the excrement left by the cat on the floor. The waste was thrown into the bin by the door.

"I am a Tiger, striped with fur. Do not come near,..."

A woman who was walking slowly down the spiral stairs, almost tripped after hearing the song in surprise.

She was Deborah Nangong, a girl with an outstanding temperament. With her fair, smooth skin, she looked elegant, like an angel who came down to earth.

She had always been known as the most beautiful woman in the city, but she had been in an unhappy mood recently. She glanced at the man who was still humming away while cleaning the floor. Instantly, her mood became worse.

"Shut up, Reuben!" Deborah reprimanded him.

Perhaps she had been born in the year of the tiger...

Thus the implication of his song made her upset.

"Oh, hi Honey. Our pet cat, Little Tiger is too naughty. Look at the cat poop all over the floor..." Reuben turned his head, revealing a pair of clear and bright eyes. At that moment, his eyes seemed to harbor countless stars, revealing a soul of endless mystery and fascination.

Unfortunately, his charm only worked for less than half a second, and then it was replaced by a fit of angry laughter.

Deborah's face was expressionless. Without looking at him, she walked down the stairs and stepped onto the clean floor with her high heels. She paused in front of the door and said coldly, "Reuben! Do not think just because you have Grandpa's support, you can fool around in my house. Our marriage is not valid. I will never be your real wife."

"It's okay," he said. He wiped off the sweat on his forehead and smiled. "I will wait for the day you change your mind!"

"Change my mind? Have I ever had feelings for you? Stop dreaming, Reuben! Your looks are not bad and you are still young. Why do you have to come to my house to live off a woman? Are you still a man? How could Grandpa possibly have a friend like you?" She said sternly. She glared coldly at him before turning around and walking away, full of disdain and ridicule for him.

Reuben, who was now the matrilocal son-in-law of this villa, did not take her sarcasm personally. Hearing this, he smiled and said, "I am also earning a living now. Have you ever seen someone else clean the floor as diligently as I do? I take care of the cat every day. I make this place comfortable for you to live in. I saved us money from hiring a nanny and a housekeeper, haven't I?"

"Humph!" Deborah was angry and speechless.

Reuben's stinging words drove her off in anger.

She had never liked him. If it wasn't due to her grandfather, Hebron Nangong, who insisted on their marriage, she would never have had a relationship with such a worthless guy.

However, her grandfather had fallen ill for quite some time already. In order to fulfil her grandfather's wishes, she had to sacrifice her happiness to go through the marriage formalities with Reuben.

They completed the marriage formalities without a wedding ceremony. The two of them had been married for half a month now but they had been sleeping in separate rooms. Deborah had never allowed Reuben to go into her room at all.

Deborah thought that since her grandfather wouldn't be alive for long, when he passed away, she would immediately divorce Reuban and drive him out from the house.

Looking at her enchanting and sexy back, Reuben foolishly smiled and shouted, "Honey, you have a great figure!"

Deborah stumbled and gritted her teeth as she took a few steps forward. She was so annoyed with Reuben that she felt that even his gaze might stain her soul. As fast as she could, she turned at the end of the walkway and disappeared.

"Hahaha..." Reuben smiled and turned around while playing with the shovel in his hand. His eagle-like eyes swept over the room and landed on a little figure. With a grin, he said, "Little thing, you've dirtied my house again. I'll teach you a lesson today!"

"Meow..."

"Awww..."

A few seconds later, the cat named Little Tiger let out a scream as it was tossed out of the door.

"Wrap up the poop, shovel up the poop, clean up the poop, clean up all the injustice in the world..." Reuben began to sing a self-made song as he waved his small shovel around and inspected the house.

At this moment, a private helicopter was hovering outside Naydragon Villa.

Deborah went out personally in order to welcome her distinguished guest, Bethuel Lee, the President of the Lovicry Group.

The helicopter touched down on the landing platform in the backyard of the villa. Five guests of varying ages came down and among them was Bethuel.

"President Lee!" Deborah greeted him with a smile and reached out her hand gracefully.

Surprisingly, Bethuel was a little nervous. He glanced at the young man in white standing next to him without reaching out to her. He just smiled nervously and said, "Miss Nangong, sorry to keep you waiting."

"No worries!" Deborah withdrew her hand awkwardly but she didn't take it personally. Pointing out her hands to guide the way, she smiled and said, "Welcome! I've prepared some tea and snacks."

"Bethuel, I'll go for a walk! Keep yourself occupied. Don't worry about me!" The handsome young man in white casually said and strolled towards the garden.

"Okay, Mr. Yen!" Bethuel bent slightly and watched the young man leave.

"Who is he?" Deborah was slightly stunned and asked with hesitation.

Bethuel quietly wiped the sweat on his forehead and quickly said, "Miss Nangong, we'll talk about it later. Let him go around as he wishes."

"Oh, sure," Deborah said without paying much attention. She felt confused as even Bethel, who was very well-known, showed deference to this mysterious young man.

She couldn't help but peep at that young man.

In the past, the Lovicry Group and the Naydragon Group were neck and neck with each other, and their strengths were equal.

However, after her father, Darius Nangong, died in an accident, the business of the Naydragon Group had plummeted, and the great responsibility of developing the company landed on Darius's only daughter, Deborah.

Without Darius, Naydragon Group was suppressed by many competitors, and its dominance was not as powerful as before. Deborah was mentally and physically exhausted. She had to constantly keep in touch with various potential partners, in order to make a comeback.

This time, in order to invite President Bethuel for a partnership, Deborah had done a lot of preparations. However, in the past week, Bethuel had given her the cold shoulder regardless of her efforts.

Surprisingly, yesterday night, Bethuel proposed to meet her early that morning to discuss the possibilities of exploring the communications industry in the city. Her heart skipped a beat.

If the two companies worked together, their businesses would have huge potential for advancement. They would even be the leading corporations of the city and their achievements might be even more glorious.

Reuben was happily humming while doing his cleaning. Leaning against the stairs, he stared into the void with a faint smirk.

At that moment, somewhere from outside came a deep voice abruptly disturbed the silence.

"The glorious Chief Leader of the Dragon King Medicos has now become a cleaner. If those old freaks from the underground world know about this, they would be dumbfounded."
